Postpartum Care Agreement & Terms

With Aimée Rodriguez, Postbirth Doula & Herbalista

Client Name(s)

1. Scope of Services

Shimmy Earth Mamá, led by Aimée Rodriguez, provides postpartum doula care, including physical support, emotional companionship, light household assistance, meal preparation and nourishment care, and the preparation of custom herbal teas and oils as part of the visit. Services are personalized to meet each mother’s unique needs.

2. Scheduling & Cancellations

Appointments are scheduled in advance. If you cancel less than 48 hours before the appointment or do not show, a $35 cancellation fee will be applied.

3. Payment

Payment is required in full at the time of booking through the website. Rates are $35 per hour, with a minimum 2-hour session. Add-ons (e.g., Reiki) are billed separately and cannot be applied as a future appointment.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to communicate openly about health status, allergies, or special needs, including any dietary restrictions and sensitivities to herbs or foods. Please notify Shimmy Earth Mamá of any changes that may affect care.

5. Consent

By signing this agreement, you give informed consent to receive postpartum care, including physical support, emotional companionship, meal preparation and nourishment care, and the use of herbal teas and oils during visits. You understand that all care is supportive and complementary and does not replace medical advice.

6. Limitations & Liability

Shimmy Earth Mamá provides support and companionship but is not a medical professional. This service does not replace medical advice or treatment. Clients should consult their healthcare providers for medical concerns.

Shimmy Earth Mamá is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from postpartum care services.

7. Confidentiality

All client information is kept confidential and will not be shared without consent unless required by law.

8. Privacy & Data Use

Client contact and health information are used solely for scheduling, care coordination, and communication. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
